
According to Law No. 43 Year 2009 Archives are records of activities or events in various forms and media in accordance with the development of information and communication technology made and accepted by state institutions, Local Government, Institution, company, Political organization, Community Organizations, and individuals in the implementation of community life, Nation and State. Archives themselves are closely related to history, Considering that the requirements of the archive itself are documents that have been completed in a long period of time, The older it is, the more it can be called an archive.
The Museology and Archives course is one of the courses that must be followed by all students of the History Education study program. Through this course, students are accustomed to examining archives, The ability to research is very important for students of the History Education study program to have so that they can work on their thesis in the future smoothly. We can access the archives manually (directly to where the archive is located) or digitally (through certain websites).

Lecturer of History Education FKIP UNS, Dadan Adi Kurniawan, S.Pd., M.A., given the mandate to teach the Museology and Archives course for the semester 3 force 2022. Dadan invited his students to examine archives both manually and digitally, The manual archives examined are theses belonging to the previous batch that have graduated. Students examine the sources of archives, both written directly and indirectly in these theses, To clarify students' understanding of the archives, they were then assigned to search for archives in the Reksa Pustaka library which they then presented the contents in front of the class.
Furthermore, students are also taught to search for archives online using Gadgets-of each, students are then guided to access the archive through the ANRI website, KITLV LEIDEN UNIVERSITY, THE MEMORY DELPHER, and DELPHER. Students then presented their findings in the form of a report containing archival photos, Archive Description, and the source of the discovery of the archive. Through this learning, Mr. Dadan hopes that his students can get used to it and know where they can find archives that they can later use to write their thesis.
